It was great at first. I loved it! BUT-I've been renting The Cambridge for almost 3 years now and I found it to be a total waste of space. The AC vent downstairs leaks so bad that is always freezing down there 10 degrees warmer upstairs. I totally agree with the other reviews about the flimsy fixtures and the bugs. My daughter couldn't even sleep in her room cause she would wake up with 2-3 spider bites per night! On the plus side, maintenance has been here, they do a mickey mouse job but they do show up. And trust me, the longer your here the more you notice. This is good from far but far from good. It's nothing more then a garden apartment disguised as a condo. Had I known that I would not have a full size washer and dryer since they would not let us in the place before renting it, I don't think i would have. Plus, rent is so high that if your thinking that you can just fix the place up to look good your dead wrong. You won't have that extra money, trust me. Unless you have top of the line stuff already before you move it, you'll just have to try to accept it for what it is. It is probably still the best in Central Jersey, but personally, if it's not what it should be then I'd rather pay less and have the money to make it into what I want. Oh- and I've gained 50lbs since I've been here because I can't afford decent food anymore. Also, you will have to give them 60 days notice in order to move. Find out how hard it is to get out before you agree to move in.

I'm sure you knew what the rent was before you moved in. No offense, but if you can't afford the place and got in over your head, that's not Pike Run's fault. You accepted their prices when you signed the lease. It's not like the management is doing something wrong here.

I didn't expect to be paying for the shotty workmanship I discovered after being here a while. I never said that's the managements fault. Also along with spiders that come in, those windows are very drafty in the winter! Unless you live here and personally have to deal with this instead of sitting behind your cozy desk, you have no ground. Did I forget to mention the convicted rapist that lives in our complex? There might have even been a drug bust recently.
