Don't be fooled by the country setting it is a loud place that interferes with regular sleep and basic enjoyment.
AUTOMOBILES: Pike Run Apartments are located on the short stretch of double lanes of route 206 where the sound of speeding cars and roar of tracker trailer trucks jockeying for position penetrate the windows and walls.
TRAINS: A Conrail track is within 500ft of the complex, long freight trains run day and night with a low shaking rumble peppered by the blast of air horns.
PLANES: Two local airports lay down a buzz of single engine aircraft over head.
GARBAGE PICK-UP: There is trash pickup 3x per week (Mon-Wed-Fri) where the many, large steel dumpsters are knocked and shaken at high RPM until empty by a front-loading truck between 5AM and 5:30AM - yes, that's AM don t bother setting your alarm, the entire process in my area takes a half hour.

The arguing, radio blaring, electric-guitar playing downstairs neighbors are the lest of your worries. You must be heavy sleeper to survive most Pike Run apartments.

We just visited Pike Run Meadows and I am confused. We were told garbage pick up is 2 days a week: Tuesday and Friday. Also, the pike run meadows residences are townhomes. There are no up/downstairs neighbors. Bottom line, I am confused by this review and think it is for another complex.

I think they are mixing up complexes,because the townhomes have 2 levels with the garage.
