I lived in brighton ave for almost 4 years . I was at first in a one bedroom then my husband and i hads our first baby then we swithched into a 2 bedroom above the super. he didnt even show us the apt er were moving in too he showed us his apt which was nice and carpet, once me and my pregnat self withmy husband moved in the apartment was a mess! The floor was coming up in the bedroom from the previous tentant air cond and he said he was going to fix it and never did! the bathroom tub water came up to my knees the first night of showering and he never fixed it until asking and asking millions of times! my husband redid the floors in the kitchen because they were all popping up! so make a long story short once the baby was born they were banging on my door every other week tellin gme we make too much noise that we had tp buy our own carpet and put it down which we never did!! finally the baby turned 2 and i guess the super couldnt take the noise any more which we were never home because i never wanted to hear his mouth plus there was no place for the baby tp play outside. So one day he yelled at my husband that he was going to tie up my daughter if she doesnt stop walking hard up stairs and of course other words were exchanged and we broke our lease and moved!! you can never go outside or walk down the stairs without tiptoeing or wispering!!meanwhile he slams his door the next street can hear him and his little grandkids run up and down the stairs all day with their dog that pees and poops in the hallway!! the washers and dryers are a rip off and whenwe lived in the one bedroom buildings the hallways smelled so bad! the apartments are very nice once you fix it up yourself and if they get a new super i would def move back but not with him still alive you cant live your life!!!!

i had the same experiece similar to yours the super is happy in the beginning but mean towards the end and you were scared to tell him if something broke because he would have a fit when it is natural that things brake
