I lived here from 82- 92; and I can relate to a lot of the issues described in all the opinions submitted. I used to be a loud rambunctious kid, hanging out at night with friends in the archways. I also dealt with my fair share of crap. My Mom, Sister and I were stalked/ a few nights in a row while my Dad was at work a man tried to break into our apt/ teens having sex under stairwells/ fires in W,M,U buildings/ irresponsible maintenance/ rapes. Not to mention the time I was jumped while I was rollerblading as a little kid, shoved to the ground and kicked repeatedly by a wannabe gang. My older sister came to my defense only to be struck in the face multiple times. It doesn??t seem like much has changed since I moved out, except me. Since then Jesus has invaded my life, and everything changed for the better. God changed a cold, evil, stubborn heart into a forgiving heart, of love, compassion and kindness. Imagine if these changes took place in the hearts of the management' In the hearts of residents' In Your heart' "With God ALL things are possible." All it takes is a little prayer, nothing formal or religious; God isn't looking for that, he is looking for your heart! Want change' God is listening.
