My wife and I move here from out of town and lived in fountain view from 2004-2005. If I new about this website before I would of posted this! We had very bad experiences. From cockroaches and beat up appliances to loud neighbors!. While we were there a fire burned out one building and then right after we moved another building caught fire. We took care of our apartment and they still tried to keep our security deposit. The staff is nice but the management is a nightmare!!! When we first moved in they told the exercise room would be done in a month, a year later when we moved out it was still not completed. The lighting is horrible so if you care about the safty your family don't move there! And After driving into the complex and watching cops chasing people numerous times and speaking with local authorites who say that is a bad area as well as the local people who know it is a haven for drugs... stay clear!! I would stay clear of this place even though it is a little cheaper, pay the extra money and live up the street at nicer apartments!!!!!!!!!

I was there at the same time as you and moved out right before that second fire as well. My boyfriend and I had all the same problems - roaches, centipedes, strange bubbles in the linoleum floor, the entire sliding glass door falling off... My favorites were having to tape everything into the outlets to keep them plugged in and the fire alarms going off in the middle of the night. The drug dealers on the front stairs were a nice touch. We lived in the first building, so fortunately we avoided the worst of it. Our cars managed to never be vandalized. I was almost happy to see the police there, because at least I knew somebody was around for protection. As a girl, I wouldn't walk to the trash alone after dark. And I didn't like my boyfriend doing it either honestly. When we moved out we didn't even leave a forwarding address or try to get the security deposit back. We just wanted out. STAY AWAY.
