I know there was a shooting on Sat and it was really scary. People can say what they want but this could happen anywhere. It is NOT the norm. I was ready to move out in '07 after living 2 years under Fountain View. The new mngt Autumn Ridge took over the end of 2007 and really cared about the residents here. I am glad I decided to stay. I never owned a home and this is the 4th apt I have lived at and I am not planning on leaving any time soon. I have great neighbors around me & we look out for each other. The staff has always been more then helpful anytime I needed anything. I just did not want the shooting to bring it all down, it would not be fair.

Something else I'd like to mention is if the management really cares about thier residents how come the office didn't even open it's normal sat hrs to maybe field some questions of concern. They must have heard there was a shooting and said we aren't going there today. Makes me wonder

Well I can definitely say that I am glad I moved I can not raise my child there and yeah there was a shooting around the corner from where we live now in Lindenwold. But we were warned and protected something that Autumn Ridge did not do from my knowledge. I feel sorry for the people that live there now. I think the place should do background checks for their current residents and if they dont meet the requirements then they should be put out. That won't happen but its just my opinion.

Exactly. they are just sweeping this MURDER under the carpet. of course I can understand from a marketing/business standpoint how it looks - of course they don't want to admit a murder happened. But the RIGHT thing to do is communicate to their residents - especially since the murderer has not been caught. Autumn Ridge is just like any other company - making a profit. But you can't hold it against them. That's what businesses do. BUT don't for one minute talk nonsense about STAFF caring about residents. The staff doesn't care about residents. They care about paychecks and collecting rent. Don't be a fool. This murder doesn't mean a loss of life to them. It means a loss of rent and a loss of future rent due to bad publicity.
