On 9/19/09 at around 10 a.m. a man was MURDERED in apartment G15. You can find supporting articles in most local papers and online.

New management still taking people in without proper background and credit checks. This is how the criminals get in here.

I mean it was only a matter of time before the drug dealers living here started killing each other.

This place is ONLY good for cheap rent. But it's all going up. So who wants to pay more to live in fear and disgust. Not me. And not anyone with any sense. I rather sacrifice and pay more elsewhere than live in this crime factory anymore.

Parking: fine. But there are NO assigned spots as they advertise on some ads.

Noise: always an issue. But if you don't mind hip-hop music at weird hours, barking dogs and uncontrolled children and teenagers hooting and hollering - thank god school started. Lord knows their parents never supervise them.

Safety: Hello'! Murder.

Construction: Cheap. Cheap. Old. Old. But what can you do' The buildings are old.

Maintenance: Can't even caulk a bathroom tub right. Better off doing little jobs yourself.

Staff: Kisses your butt as long as they can solve your problem cheaply. But if it's a real issue like safety, bad neighbors, crime, bugs - they will treat you like a nuisance.

Overall: There are safer apartments in the area ... or look outside of Blackwood!

it can be very scary here at nite most of the time, and the office could care less about your issues, they treat you as if you were a criminal and treat the criminals like royalty. ive been here 4 years, because its all i can afford and am totally disgusted with the way the management treated me over a simple toilet problem, i was talked down to and told that I did something to it. It took 4 visits and lots of yelling to even get it fixed and in reality it needs replacing. And they raise the rent here? what a joke! Im now looking for safer apts, after the murder it is even harder to live here! Wake up autumn ridge and take care of your good tenents before you lose all of us too!!!!
