LARGE APARTMENTS: BUT they are OLD and need constant repairs; you get what you pay for...cheap rent but falling apart apartments such as: water leaks, faucets breaking, air conditioner units that need to run ALL the time during the summer, paint peeling off your patio/balcony (gee is this lead based' glad I dont have kids!), cracks in walls, cabinets that have been painted over WAY too many times, the windows are older than me and often when you open them, you cant close them again because they get stuck, no landscaping except for the front where the rental office is (isnt that convienent') Westminister Mgmt is such a large company, they need to invest some of OUR money into the complex! Parking lot needs to be paved and have lights replaced. I have lived in apts for the past 6 yrs, and have never had to call maintance as many times as I have had to here, every week I wonder what will break next!
You pay a $35 recreation fee when you move in for use of the pool and tennis courts; pool is ok but if you plan on playing tennis, go join a gym-they are always locked shut and there are weeds growing in the numerous cracks on the court. Dirty laundry rooms with dirty concrete floors (dont drop any clothes on the floor when taking your clothes out of the dryer-you'll need to pay another $1.50 to wash them again!) Its a shame because the size and layout of the apartments are great, most neighboors in my building are quiet, but I will be moving when my lease is up....worth it to pay more for somewhere else....feel like I am living in the ghettos of Blackwood! I would not recommend this place to anyone...its like living in a rundown house that is falling apart around you!
The nicest and most upkept section is the first building...were the rental office is...false advertising! DONT BELIEVE IT!!!!
