I'm really surprised to hear overall bad reviews of this place. Here are the pros and cons:
PROS
1- QUIET and mostly considerate neighbors. Coming from where I came from, it's like living in Xanadu now. Maybe I'm just lucky that I happen to live around what seem to be good people.
2- Parking is a dream. Big spaces and there's always a space in front of my apt.
3- Private entrance. This is always an underrated feature, but it feels more open to have your own front door -- instead of sharing a commons area.
4- For the most part, it looks like a community. It's as non-sterile as an apartment complex can get. And it's relatively well maintained.
5- Location. Still only 15 minutes from Philly during non-peak hours. Perfect.
CONS
1- Management - it's hard to get in contact with them. They seem to keep strange hours.
2- Kids - I know I said it's quiet, but I'm a grad student who works full time, and when I get home, I need quiet. The only time the quiet breaks are when these pain in the a** kids need to skateboard up and down the sidewalk in front of my ground floor apartment. THis is especially annoying when there is a large playground right around the corner.
3- Plumbing - I've had a number of problems with the plumbing -- sink or toilet or disposal backing up for no good reason.

Overall, I've had a terrific experience here so far. Again, maybe it's because I'm lucky to have quiet neighbors.
