We have lived in the Fairways for almost three years. Unfortunately this coming spring we decided we have had enough and are moving. Maintenance is very slow at fixing things. We should have known that though because when we did our initial walkthrough and wrote down all the problems she said to us You really don t expect us to fix all these things right'. We thought that maybe she was joking but she was very serious. I do have to say that there area is nice and there are very few kids. The area is mostly senior citizens and the complex does keep up with the landscaping. The main reason we are leaving is because of the rent increases. In the last 3 years that we have lived there, there has been 3 rent increases. There seems to be a rent increase every single year and now that they are increasing it again, we have decided to move into a 2 bedroom town home. We are going to pay less to live in a 2 bedroom town home then we would pay to live at the Fairways. I must also mention that the ventilation is very poor. We in the summer months we paid over $300.00 a month in electric bills. Some of the tenants are currently filing complaints with the Department of Health because the ventilation is so poor that your bedroom is often freezing in the winter and sizzling in the summer. Besides all the problems, you could not ask for a better set of neighbors, especially for childless couples and seniors.
