I consider myself a semi-tolerant person, and I don't expect much from an apartment community because you can't control what kind of people you live near...all the management office cares about is whether or not they pay their rent. So with that in mind...

Residents: A few nice, respectable, people...but mostly trash who don't know how to control their children. In our section specifically, children regularly play with items from the dumpster...they also play IN and around the dumpster, in full view of their parents. They think the parking lot is their own personal playground as they race around at top speed on their bikes paying no mind to the cars that pull in. They play baseball in the parking lot, race in between cars at top speed, and break glass in the street. Bikes are left strewn across parking spaces, just begging to be crushed by the next car that pulls in. The parents do absolutely nothing, it seems they're just happy to keep the children out of the house. We've got a section of tough guys/girls who stare you down every time you walk or drive by...and deserve a good brick to the face. And I'm not just talking about the kids. You know the type. TRASH of all ages and races.

Parking: There isn't any. This place is full of woods and they value the trees more than their tenants. We have to park illegally when there are no spots left (partly because the trash that lives there allow god knows who to shack up with them whenever they feel like it, since half of them work for Lakeview and live there for free). Then we get ticketed because we have no place else to park, and Lakeview doesn't give a crap that it's their fault. And unless you're a thug, you don't want to go park down the street in another lot and walk back to your place at night...trust me.

Maintenance: You have to call maintenance about 6 times to get something done...not because they don't come out, but because they'll rig whatever the problem is instead of fixing it right the first time. There's maybe one or two decent maintenance guys in the whole place, the rest don't know what they're doing and don't care enough to bother doing it right. Call the property manager to complain' Sure..but do you really want to piss off some shady dude who has a key to your house' I didn't think so.

Appearance: Looks great in the brochure, doesn't it' When you get here it looks like the backwoods of some horror film. They don't clean up the leaves, except when they cause a problem (see the next section on Fires for that) and the parking lot is a mess. They don't do anything with the place except when it's time for their little meeting to try to raise rent on us. Then the place gets all dolled up, they just painted new parking spots for us...some of which were illegal to park in last week, which we got ticketed for. And it seems like their little meeting is coming up soon. Shocking. Let's also not forget that the place is so overgrown with bushes and trees that you can't see around the corner as you're driving through the curvy development...you're sure to hit a small, annoying child standing in the middle of the street.

Fires: Oh yes, there's been quite a few.

This place is a nightmare...the only perks are that it's right off route 42, kind of spacious, and not too pricey.

If you're a decent, respectful person who wants to live somewhere peaceful and stress free, I suggest going somewhere else. I've never been so miserable living anywhere in my life.
