I've lived here for the past 2 years. I must say in comparison to living in a privately owned apartment in Philadelphia, Lakeview is not THAT bad. Now it does have it's downfalls TRUST ME!!!! Between the bad ass kids that have absolutely NO RESPECT for anything, to the fires that always seem just toooooo CLOSE for comfort, and the dumb ass maintanence men that just cover the problem instead of fixing it.....remember IT COULD ALWAYS BE WORSE!!! At least they come out & pretend to fix whatever...it usually takes at least 2 visits before getting the issue resolved. Some places you NEVER see maintanence!!! I had to threaten maintanence and the leasing office with a lawsuit if my front light was not fixed because it presented a serious porblem, I would come home & it was pitch black in the front of my complex and in the back, so I told them GOD forbid if something happens to me because of their neglegence instead of Lakeview APts they woudl be named after ME!!! Once they realized that they were dealing with someone with some legal knowledge they took care of the issues IMMED!!! BUt of course you have to scare the living crap out of them to get results...Now, if maintanence does not get it done to my liking I go straight to the property manager...but even still through all of the BS I still don't do much complaining because through it all IT COULD ALWAYS BE WORSE!!!!
