At first it seemed like a great place just a little older than others. But after we re-signed our second lease this place cared less about us. From never plowing the snow in the lot to the bathroom outlet not working (with out starting a fire), the toilet ran (I had to fix it myself) the sink in the bathroom leaked and took 2 days to get someone out to fix it, and the stopper on the tub keeps tripping and will not stay up and when you call maintanence about it they say "Oh well it's just an old tub" I hear squirrels or rats in the wall which they don't want to look for and our garbage disposal backed up from three grains of rice after which we were told not to put in there. IT'S RICE!!! IT'S already chopped up!!!! Do not move here unless you want practice for a fixer upper.

Oh my God. So perfectly accurate. I lived there for a year. The year of the Presidents Day Blizzard, in fact. (2003?) The plowing was atrocious. Nevermind that parking was a nightmare to begin with. During my year there, I knew of two apartment units that were burglarized, one just a few doors from where I lived. And the "old" excuse was exactly what I was given when I told them that my bathroom window wouldn't stay up. "Well, they're old windows." That's exactly what I was told. How funny is that? I felt like saying "Yeah, they're old and now you've admitted that you know they don't work. That's not an excuse. That's a reason to REPLACE THEM." The bugs that came into my apartment were the things of legends. You can check my review in the list here. It's called "UPDATED 3/20/2004: A COMPLETE GHETTO." It's all true, I can guarantee you.

The garbage disposal, I had almost forgotten! We don't even attempt to use ours anymore because, as you said, putting rice down it will cause it to malfunction. They claimed to have "fixed" it and anyone who has lived here knows what that means....NOTHING.
