We have been living in the townhouses for over a year and squirrels have found a home in our walls for the past eleven months. I call maintnence over and over and nothing is ever done about it. This past two months were horrible, they are able to travel in every wall of the house. Again, I call maintence over and over, and it's never taken care of. I go to the leasing office and still nothing gets done. My son is terrified to sleep at night! Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do about it'

Send management a certified letter advising that if the problem is not fixed within 30 days you are withholding rent. Place the money asisde in what is called an escrow so that it is availible. If they take you to court, that is the first thing the judge will ask you. This way, you are not just simply not paying your rent. The court may even say that for the number of days they did not repair, you are entitled to keep that portion of the rent!!!

Get a shotgun! maybe then maintenance will respond to the shotgun holes in the walls faster than the squirrels....and if not...squirrel problem solved! :D
