My air is broke for the third time this year, mind you it is only June. The first time they charged the unit, one week later again charge the unit. I wrote a detail letter to the property manager and received no response. Isn't that nice that for three years paying your rent on time the property manager can not take the time for you. I would place bets that they get the late notices out on time. Now today my air is broke again. I will have to go though this all over again. Every year the air has broke at least two times and they feel a charge takes care of the problem.

There is no storm window's and I pay for my heat. Every year I have to put plastic on the window's and the apartment is still cold. It's well known that the parking is bad. Be careful coming home at night you might have to park at least a block 1/2 and the lighting is bad.

THIS WILL BE MY LAST YEAR HERE! After 5pm on weekdays maintenance is closed after that it is has to be an emergency. If you are looking to move here you should reconsider the rent is to expensive and the property manager does not care.

What does bother me that they are not customer friendly when it comes to repairs. The roof leaked for one year before they fixed it. My kitchen had mold from the leak and it took 8 months before somebody came out and panted over the mold. The kitchen ceiling has two paint strokes. Does that make sense'

I agree with you, the place has really gone to the dumps. Now that summer is here, I do believe with all the section 8 tenants around this year and all the residents from Camden living in Lakeview it's going to be a long hot summer. They have brought Camden mentality with them, and it's obvious by the trash that is thrown on the grounds, the cars that have been keyed, tires slashed, windows broken out of doors and dog crap everywhere. I have lived in Lakeview for 4 years, but I will be moving when my lease is up, too much filth for me and if I wanted to live in the ghetto and pay the high price rent that I am paying I could live in Camden City. I am totally upset with the living environment that I have been forced to live in. It has been said that new owners will be taking over SOON, the reason all the apartments are being rented to any and everybody, it's really sad for those of us that work and pride ourselves on living the best we can and have to be subjected to living like pigs around people who want nothing but what's given to them freely. But the question remains, where do you go to rent that Section 8 is not there? The apartment dwellings can't discriminate..

Here is what you can do for the problems that management refuses to fix-send a certified letter outlining what needs to be repaired. let them know that if it is not repaired in a timely matter-i.e. 10 days, you will be withholding your rent until repairs are made. You can also reapir and deduct, meaning that you can purchase window units and deduct the amount from your rent. You CANNOT be evicted if you are lawfully withholding rent because of repairs. Make sure that if you do withhold the rent, you keep it in an account. You may have to pay later once the repairs are performed satisfactorily. However, you are usually given a credit for the days you were without the a/c or whatever.

Let's see.Heater, air, dishwasher, well almost a dishwasher all broke. Dishwasher still not fixed. Air is being fixed now after I called maintenace 10 times. We have had roaches, slugs, and all type of bugs. Neighbors upstairs that allow their dogs to piss on their deck and drip down on mine. And now they decided to take out the units washer and dryer. Don't move here unless you can't afford to move.

Wow I am glad I did move out! It's a shame you can't enjoy your balcony. Let alone the bugs! One of the reason for living there was the washer and dryer in my unit.
