We have lived here for 20 years, raised two kids here, and all in all I would say we have enjoyed the experience. Could things be better' Of course, but that's true anywhere, including owning your own home. Everyone is quick to complain about noise (you can even have noisy neighbors in a single-family neighborhood) crime (where do you live where there isn't any') bugs (are you kidding me' it's called nature. spiders and moths live out in the world and are not management's problem). In our 20 years here we have seen management companies come and go and some have definitely been better than others, but Kamson is the best so far and they really do try to keep things nice. Yes, there are issues that need addressing. Parking is an enormous problem. When this complex was built I don't think as many apartments had two cars. Trash blowing around can be a problem, but mostly that's because sloppy tenants miss the dumpster and walk away. I can't tell you how many times my husband and I have gone outside and picked up someone else's trash because they were too lazy to. Tenants not picking up after their dogs is another problem. And once again, that's the tenants fault, not management's. Some of these same folks don't keep their dogs on leashes either, which can miserable when the dog runs at you barking while the owner says, "oh, he's okay, just overly friendly." Right. And finally to address the Ann situation mentioned so many times before. I have never had any difficulty with Ann. She has always been courteous to me, but then I am courteous to her. People don't listen to themselves sometimes. If you call up complaining, cursing and yelling, guess what attitude you'll get back' I would finally state that apartment living is difficult at best, but Washington Way is certainly the best thing around.
