Not Bad Overall

This complex has its pluses and minuses. I lived there for one year.

On the plus side, the apartments themsevles are pretty well maintained and there is usually availability due to its huge size. The buildings themselves are old and the complex is working on them.

I found their main office to be pretty easy to deal with especially if you are polite with them. They are quick to respond to complaints. The maintenance department is also prompt and has 24 hour service.

On the down side, the parking there is a nightmare which is what everyone says. If you aren't home by 9:00 on a weeknight, you'll have trouble. Never, ever "invent a spot". You'll be ticketed as the police use this complex as a cash cow. If you find no spots, the best thing to do is drive to one of the small streets off Belleville Avenue. It's walk but your car will be fine and you'll avoid a ticket. Be especially wary of the yellow lines on the corners on the weekends when parking is usually easier. The cops let that go during the week but not on the weekends.

They rent out parking spaces and garages for an extra fee per month but good luck finding one close to your apartment. The parking spaces are near the entrance.

The better apartments are away from Davey Street and it is usually pretty quiet in those areas. The ones off of Davey are exposed to more noise from traffic. Overall, the area is pretty quiet which is surprising considering the population of the complex.

I was lucky enough to live near the golfcourse which provided some nice scenery and quiet days and nights. Unfortunately, that means you'll be further from the street and it becomes a pain when you have to carry anything large from your car to your apartment when you can't fine a good spot. Moving in and out of there was an experience to say the least.

There are not many children there as I thought there would be. Most people there are working singles, couples with one or no children as well as some senior citizens.

The area itself is safe even at night and is close to a lot of areas. Most people I met there liked it and there were some that didn't but that's like anything else. My deposit was refunded promptly when I moved out.

Overall, it's not bad place to live especially if you need to find something fast.
