We have been here for over 10 years. There are still many things I love about Forest Hill. Maintenance has always come quickly and done a great job. Especialy when it snows. Debbie and the rest of the office staff have never been rude to us and I have always felt comfortable calling or stopping in. Love the location. But as others have said, you CAN here the people downstairs. We had a serious problem with our downstairs neighbors who had small children. The children were permitted to run through the house with wild abandonment. Running, jumping, sometimes it sounded like they were bouncing a ball. Being parents we understood and didn't complain. My kids would get upset. They would try to do homework or study and the noise was such a distraction. Still we never complained. On one occasion my kids were home alone and got into a argument. The father came up and yelled at them. One night I got fed up listening to his kids. I permitted my kids to do as they wanted. The father came upstairs demanding that I keep my kids quiet because I was on the second floor. I told him he had to be joking. Then his wife came up screaming too. I complained to the office about him, the amount of noise and the duration. I was told it was "normal living noise". NOT! Kids running and screaming through the house for hours on end it not NORMAL. We could also hear the TV, the radio,coughing, sneezing, toilet flushing, shower running and talking.
We began looking for a new place to live. Fortunately they left first.
We also had friends that moved from Forest Hill who had the same problem.
My other pet peeve is how dirty the laundry room is kept. People spill detergent on the machines, leave dryer sheets all over and the lint trays in the dryers are not cleaned. On one occassion my colored clothes got bleached because someone spilled bleach on one of the machines and did not clean it up.
The neighbors 10 years ago were more considerate, quiet and clean. Forest Hill is changing and it doesn't seem for the better.

I agree people have changed over the last 10 years,but you can not blame this on management. I have lived here for over 25years and think this property has been improved 100 percent. It is a shame that people today do not have any respect for each other
