I'm a resident too. when i first got there heat was a problem - but after months of pleading they finally came and bled the pipes. I'm getting more heat now but it could have been better but I dont want to be aggrevated so I let it go. I am so surprised that a lot of theft is on the property. I thought this place was safe. Maybe, I because I am too busy to take note as I am always busy and nothing has happened to me personally. I do understand now that there are a lot of faults with the property, the staff at the office are utterly rude and doesnt leave much to be desired. They are tearing down Forest Hill because they are brushing the problems under the carpet instead of addressing them. As a result, more and more people are fedup and thus a high turnover. The grounds is well kept but more attention to detail could be paid by management. Could be they are underpaid and wants to know what's the fuss. The office area is well kept, but if you look across the way from the office you can see that it is mediocre compared to the office area. The back of the property needs attention. If money is being paid for service why isnt service rendered. Maybe they need to pitch for a new company to take care of the grounds. I am in agreement with all those who complain of the nuiances on the property. They (management) needs to let the corporation knows what's going on if they cant control it. last but not least, the rent continue to go up for no apparent reason - there is no justification. Last but not least - we got notice that more parking will be available this or next month - i was elated when i saw it but it comes with a price. thought that was a bad idea considering we cant find parking and if you park illegal, the cops will fine you. The parking should be free, considering that we are paying hefty increases on a yearly basis no less than $25.00. WHAT IS FOREST HILL PROPERTIES DOING FOR US - i can assure you that the popularity of this place will be on an all time low - the pretty red doors and hardwood floors doesnt cut if when you have to deal with some many issues.
