I lived there for a year right in the middle of Donald St. Parking is ok if you get a garage. That way you can just park it in there without having to worry about snow/rain/whatever.
I was in a 1BR on the first floor in a corner unit. There was one person above me and one person to my left --- that was it. The laundry was right there, too. My neighbors were barely there and never made any noises. Although when they did, you can tell they were home. Good thing they were very considerate and neighborly.
The grounds were always clean. They clean up everything around the clock. Although you better not leave your car on the street when they blow the leaves during the fall. I've gotten a few dings in my car when they tried to blow a whole pack (rocks and all) right THRU my car instead of around it.
I jogged at night around the area and have never seen any hoodlum/thug types hanging around. Pretty safe.
The fridge leaked when I moved in and it was replaced promptly. The tub didn't drain quickly and was unclogged quickly, too. Maintenance was a pleasure to deal with overall.
Staff, like everybody said, isn't a highlight of the place. The lady that shows you around has an attitude problem. But she lights up when you bring the deposit and you're ready to sign that lease.
Overall, not bad. Parking is ok as long as you get home around 5 or 6pm. It frees up again around 9 or 10 when the night shift people leave. I'd recommend it. Much better than Audubon place. I wouldn't walk my dog around that area.

Like anywhere you live there a difference of opinions and always good and bads. But it is a nice place to live, I know there are alot of dumps I looked at before I found Forest Hill Properties.
