There is a no pet policy but alot of people have dogs including one of the prperty employees on Davey Street (he has 2!. Apartments are very hot in the winter, you have no thermostat to control heat. Yes there are bugs, lots of them mostly waterbugs. Maintenance staff are not the brightest people to deal with. Still waiting for repairs they never show up when they do it's when you ae not home. Very noisy area in general. Office staff tends to be snobish.

I also live at forest hill properties, I have been a tenant for 6 years, I have lived in two different apartments. I am also a rental agent in Livingston. This is not an easy job. The properties have policies and the tenants feel they do not have to follow them. So is the landlord supposed to evict everyone or as we do address the problems as brought to us. I do not know what Forest Hill does, but I'm sure it is a problem. You say about bugs, well one apartment I lived in had no bugs the one I transfered to after a new person moved in I started seeing bugs, I told the manager and she addressed the issue and after the 1 month I had no bugs again. People seem to forget, management doesn't bring the bugs, they are brought in thru many ways, at no fault of the landlord, but you feel it is there problem, why? The office staff is easier to deal with then the people I work with at my job. What are you looking for someone to hold your hand, snobish is the why I would describe your review. Once again after six years and continuing this property is very large and I can not believe how quiet it is during the day and at night, when I get company the first thing they say is it is so quiet around here. I'm sorry to response so harassly against your review but I feel it is only far to tell the truth. You will have some type of problem, no matter were you live and even if you buy a home you are reasonable for the problems, so enjoy your apartment living and give management a far shake.

The problems mentioned were brought to the attention of management. Keep in mind i said management also keeps pets so they in effect are breaking their own rules. Also I don't need anyone to hold my hand as you state, just to correct the issues that are reported to management. you are either an employee of Forest Hills or ignorant to the issues by the tone of your reply.
