I have read all of the reviews written on this complex. I have to agree wholeheartedly with the nay-sayers; this place is one step away from Section 8. If a welfare community is what you are in the market for, then by all means sign the lease. However, as an educated, professional person who was newly divorced, I felt very out of my element here. The grounds are NOT well maintained; there are considerably more than a "few" cats roaming the area; considering the frequency at which the police are called, you would figure the complex would be a lot safer; the pool collapsed and was never fixed; the playground was a few rusted swingsets with most of the swings broken or missing; tennis courts'...is THAT what the fenced in area was supposed to be'...; "management", (I use the term loosely), was very condescending and "maintenance", (again, the jury is still out), couldn't fix a flat tire, never mind maintain an entire community; hardwood floors are so over-laminated that you can't help but scratch them, so don't expect that security deposit back!; the few decent families living here were so few and far between, but were a breath of fresh air from the common dysfunctionality of all the other occupants. BUT MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT - MEGHAN'S LAW PREDATORS ARE KNOWN TO BE LIVING IN THIS COMPLEX. PARENTS, BEWARE. THERE PRESENCE IS PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE, BUT THEIR APARTMENT NUMBER IS PRIVATE. I WORRIED SO MUCH, MY 6 YEAR OLD SON COULDN'T EVEN PLAY ON THE PORCH ALONE! SCARY!
I hope you will take my opinions to heart - I have nothing to say that is positive or even reassuring about living here. I went for two years waiting for even a ripped screen to be fixed. And it is true that when an upstairs balcony is replaced, those downstairs are trapped for the day - without any advance notice!
I was so happy the day I returned my keys. Not so much because I bought a home, but because I WAS OUT OF THERE!
