I lived in Waterside Gardens for four years and it really wasn't that bad. The apartments are large and relatively cheap for the area, and maintenance did come fix things in a timely manner. This area is not like ghetto..the place was average families and while there was occasionally things like couples fighting and arguements in the parking lots..it was the kind of thing where you look out your window and watch, never something where you in any way felt threatened or felt like the area was scary. It never once felt like that.

It's a perfectly good place to live if you want a cheap place in Brick and as safe as any other apartment complex. Only complaint I have is that traffic in Brick is horrible and even though Waterside is not far from the Parkway it takes forever to get to it. It
