I've been living in Kings Village for almost 3 years and I haven't had any huge issues. My neighbors are friendly and have been really easy to get along with. Overall, it's a pretty quiet neighborhood. I read other reviews about issues with parking, but my building doesn't seem to have that problem. Each apartment only has 2 cars. The rent is decent and there have been no surprises with rent increases. The apartments are pretty roomy and I love the walk-in closet. Any time that I've called for maintenance, they have responded quickly and have taken care of the problem. I've had a couple issues with late night noise, but it's usually sporadic and the people who make the noise never seem to live there very long.
I've never had an issue with the bookeeping. When I signed my lease, and every year when I renew, they give me 12 addressed envelopes for me to mail my rent check in. I always mail my checks a few days early to make sure that they're received before the 1st of the month.
The neighborhood seems really safe and I take walks through the neighboring roads often. I always see other walkers and runners out there, and they've been friendly. The police station is right up the road, right near a pretty big public library.
After living here a few years and comparing this apartment to the ones that my friends have, I really think it's a good place to live. I plan on continuing to live here until I buy a house.
