Please please please contact the Burlington Police Department before you move here. Ask them to run an incident (shootings, etc.) report for the apartment complex for the last 6 months, you will be glad you did.

Ok. Let me just say that as I never lived in chateau for obvious reasons,the apt community is not good. It is a bad area....I'm not going to give my proffession,but lets just say "criminal justice field". Strange people walking in the area asking for money or selling drugs. The drug trafficking is one of the major problems there. Those apts have alot of problem people living there.....section 8 females w/drug dealing boyfriends illegally residing in the home,gang activity,shootings etc. I've seen many of the apts in this community. Some residents are law abiding citizens with decent looking apts and you can see where they need maintenance inside. Many yrs ago (like the 80s) these apts were beautiful.
