ok place for the price Not the best place on earth... heating cost kills you. Some apartments have mold problems.. Managemnt lady never in office. The super is good. Highway noises are hard to get used to,neighbours are good though. Location is very good. Public transportation at the door.

Management (in short hills, NOT Daisy) is unprofessional and downright rude! I lived in Butler Arms on Boonton Ave for only one year and had no problems other than an unclean laundry room and lack of parking- that is until I moved out. I followed all procedures that I was instructed to follow

Management is to be blamed!!!! I've read all the reviews, everyone has some truth to what they wrote. Now my review is about blaming the management at the main office in Short Hills. I've been at Butler Ridge for almost 3yrs and the apartments are decent but do need some repairs.

Blame him for the way that the apartments are kept....

It was fine for a while, but I'm glad to be moving out. After 8 years of living at Butler Ridge, I am glad to be moving on. It seemed fine in the beginning, but my apartment is very dated. As people move out, they redo the kitchen and bathrooma and put down new carpeting.

stay away going on 2 weeks with no hot water and steady streaming leak in bathtub - still no eta on repairs. mold is and has always been pretty much everywhere around all windows and in bathroom. mysterious cracks appear in walls and ceilings. office staff never in office and rarely get a return
