Ok, but not great

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007
My fiance and I just moved out of the Victor after living there for two years.
When we first moved in, everything was great - clean, friendly, quiet.
However, two managers later the place was really going downhill.
They recently fired all of the good and responsive doormen, and left strangers (and temps) at the front desk.
The building also is not as clean as it once was...
from what I understand a couple of the cleaning staff got fed up and quit.
The maintenance folks were great and extremely helpful, but management has become very snooty and unresponsive.
They also charge you $200 when you move out to clean and paint your apartment - which is taken out of your security deposit.
I understand why this needs to be done, but it is never disclosed until you tell them you are leaving.
If you are looking for something a bit cheaper than Center City, with parking, this may be for you.
We enjoyed our time there, but definitely felt it was going downhill.
Oh, and the walls were very thin...
we heard our neighbors many nights getting "loud" so to speak.
Plus, many of the professionals in the building (like us) have moved out, and its pretty much inhabited by Rutgers law students.
