The pictures on the website are not at all what the units look like.
The Units have grey cheap carpet and the walls, all the walls are painted with cheap white paint.
Basically the whole unit is white, white, and more white.
If you work or travel to Philly this place is not worth it at all, you will actually spend more money living here and driving into philadelphia each day then simply living in a more expensive place in the city.
You must remember that gas is 3.60 a gallon, the bridge cost 3 dollars and then you have to pay for parking, add it up.
Plus preparing taxes in Jersey and working in Philly turns into work as well.
Not that big of a deal but still must be done each year.
Last gripe, the ac/heat unit is very under-powered for the size of the unit and you must get a ceiling fan to help with the cooling/heating cost that come with 15 foot windows.
Finally, the only lights in the unit are in the kitchen, walk in closet, bathroom and hallway.
You have to provide your own lights for the bedroom as well as living-room.
Personally you must decide if living in Camden is worth it to you, for me it is not, however I do work in Philly and must travel there everyday.
I am ending my lease here and moving to a much nicer place that is 1100 sq feet 2 bd for $1400 a month and I am saving almost a hundred dollars a month as a result of the move.
If you drive in camden be careful, people crossing the street do not understand light color, they just cross.
I promise last thing, if you live on the second floor you can here the construction going on below your unit since they work at night.
Starting at 9 p.m.
you will here a boom boom from a sledge hammer, this sound goes all night.

I live at the Victor as well, however I decided not to renew my lease. I agree w/ all your points especially about the Camdenites and their color blindness. My wife and I have always wondered if these people have death wishes. Anyway, my main reason for writing is that I want to know where you are moving to. PLEASE SHARE. Thanks.

Say, do you mind sharing where you found such a great deal in Philly 1100 sq/ft 2 bed $1400? I'm moving to Philly next year and was browsing this site to see which of these "luxury" apts are really worth the money. I'd love some intel.

whatever! You seem to be leaving out a few major bits of information on living in Philadelpha: city wage tax, business privelge tax, monthly parking no less the 250.00 a month. Let's chat a about space... I looked at 12 Lux loft apts in Philly from 640 north braod 2nd a bambridge...I didnt find anything close to the space. As far as the white walls: HONEY PLEASE! I was going to have to paint any place I went into.
For anyone reading this review, go see the Victor Lofts for yourself. This person apparently is out of touch with the facts.
