I have been here a year and not happy with problems I have had. Lied to about parking when I signed the lease- Had to park in unsercured lot for (3) months. Also told I could only move in Mon-Fri. Had to take a vacation day off work to move during the week, but have seen all kinds of people moving in during the weekend and though the front lobby which is really nice to see. I have people smoking and drinking in the fire stairways and with my windows next to them I have to smell and listen to this crap in the summer when my windows are open. Spoke with management and they did put a paper sign up but that was taken down within several days of being put up and this still continues. Hope the building don't burn down.
Time to renew my lease for another year and being told the increase is $50 a month with is 4% increase about what I expected, but the kicker is they are now going to start charging $25 a month for parking- Paying $1,310 a month and now have to pay $25 a month to park my car- BS.
The other issue is although the area around the apartment is somewhat nice- no places to eat or shop (food at Victor Pub isn't fit for a dog) without driving out of Camden.
I'm here now and it looks like I'm going to have to pay addtitional $900 next year to stay. I would continue to look someplace else- This place is not that good and would NOT recommend it to anyone.

To the public: I would ask any reader of this review to take into consideration that there are always two sides to every story. As a resident here, I can say with certainty and conviction, that there is always going to be those people who are completely immature, unrealistic, and unsophisticated when it comes to managing their own expectations about a condo/apartment living. Allow me to address of few of the unfounded complaints by the previous reviewer: 1) They should go back to school and learn how to read and write. 2) You had to park in unsercured parking because you were no doubt not paying attention when people were explaining the terms of your lease and parking here. It is standard practice that the leasing department explain the rules. There is NO Way anyone could have lied to you about parking. Unless you are hard of hearing and did not read the lease and welcome packet, you could NOT MISS the rules around parking. It is possible that you chose not to listen and read during the tour and the signing of your lease. But there is NO WAY anyone lied about anything. The Dranoff Leasing Management and staff spelled out everything for me, a million times, as they realized moving is stressful and people can overlook some rules. But the ground rules are very well articulated. 2)I challenge you to find any other facility with a nominal parking free of 25.00. It is an absurd assertion and one loses all credibility when one makes such a ridiculous comment. NO where in Center City and beyond can you find this. You want to debate about, I'd be glad to have this conversation with at the Pub. 3)Moving times: Dont you think you are being petty and absurd here to. Let's brake it down a bit for your small brian to comprehend. Business is business. There are many situtions with respect to moving that require having to take days off. Many apt complexes and condos have association rules and alike in place. may of those rules are put in place to benefit the RESIDENTS. There are considerations property manager's every where must make to keep the residence happy. Weekends are a time where our peace could be distrupted by move in's and out's. And I hope Dranoff and Co NEVER change that policy just because a pin head like you cant think past your own selfish needs. Your complain here once again is absurd and unfounded. 4)If you see people drinking and smoking you had every right to protect yourself and the rest of us. You should have made a call to management or the concierge. Dont EVEN try to tell me you did. Cuz, again, I have been here and complained on minor and larger issues and I got IMMEDIATE PROFESSIONAL response and resolution. 5)Rent increases are a part of apartment living. Deal with it. It is no reason to publically whine and cast unfounded negativity against the Victor Staff. 6)The Pub is the Pub. But, again, every neighborhood has a crappy resturant. And the last time I checked, there are a ton of places to within 5 miles to eat. Everywhere else I lived... I had to get in my car and drive to a place to eact. Unless of course you live in center city. However, if you got your panties in a bunch about 25 dollars on month to park your car here at the Victor, I am certain your piggy bank will explode when you see the cost to park in the city. The way I see this review is that you cant afford to live here, you have unrealistic expectations, and you are a negative person. The Victor resident culture is a wonderful place to live. Eveyone from the Leasing management and agents, to maitenance and housekeeping are completely professional, honest and caring individuals. When we grow up to be mature adults, we realize nothing is perfect. And we should look for the good in the people that try their best to make this place a home for the residence. GREAT PLACE TO LIVE!

I agree that the Victor is an awesome place to live. The leasing team members are honest and extremely professional. I think the person that negatively characterized the staff is WAY OFF BASE. I think seeing is believing. If you are a young professional, this is a great place to live.

DMVPENN; before you tell someone to "go back to school and learn how to read & write" you should proofread your own writing. Example: "Let's brake it down a bit for your small brian to comprehend." Maybe my brian isn't working properly, but I think you're a clown. And the Victor is a joke.
