I had been pretty happy with my unit, but incoming tenants these days could write a another chapter in the Handbook for the New Bohemian. Before I proceed, I should define what a New Bohemian is: Usually, but not always, politically-left, in-your-face poorly-mannered, and, before I forget, did I already mention--POORLY MANNERED--oblivious to the peace and welfare of their neighbors. Yes, the New Bohemian is very prevalent in society, and in the complex. Case in point: parking of over-sized and multiple vehicles, thereby exceeding the limits provided for in the lease agreement--good luck finding a parking space. Shouldn't have to be that way because each unit is provided a garage--which is a major selling point for living here. But, the New Bohemians use the garages for storage, not for the vehicles--hhhmmmm.... But, no, here comes the New Bohemian with enough vehicles to fill a used car lot! Noise is the biggest problem with this child of bad manners: "Oh, i'm sorry--was that a drum set you were playing or were you putting away your pots and pans back into the cabinets' Let's hear that one again!!" Nothing against the management here--they are great. And, the buildings been updated with new windows and doors. Still not enough, though, to thwart the mindless efforts of the Bohemians. Mindless...efforts--that's an oxymoron--just like the Bohemians.

I was a tenant here for many years. The only reason I left, was because my job transferred me out of state. As far as tenants go, no apartment complex will be perfect. Yes, there are people in this world without manners, but my experience at Cedar Grove Gardens was a positive one. My neighbors were all pleasant, friendly and respectful. Sure, at times there was a little noise, but that is to be expected at a complex. Nothing I experienced was intolerable. The parking was a little tough at times, but with most people abiding by the rules and using their garages, it was not a big issue. Any issues brought to the attention of management were taken care of in a timely manner. This is a beautiful complex in a quiet, safe community. Being a single woman, I always felt very safe there.
