Probably the most obnoxious and rude people live in this building. I've lived here for about a month temporarily between moves and I had to deal with stuff like people smoking IN elevators, dogs barking through the wall, and constant sound of ambulances because this building is located accross the street from a retirement community...where people probably get heart attacks every week. The apartment manager couldn't give a rat's ass if some guy is blasting loud music above you either. Lucky for me we were on the top floor. However, because the building is so long, there is only 1 set of elevators so if your apartment is all the way at the end, I hope you have a pushcart because you're gonna be doing a 2 minute walk from the elevator to your door carrying all those groceries.

This place is a ghetto! I lived there for 5 years. It was my first apartment and as a single female, I was left to feel very uncomfortable when my underwear started being stolen in the middle of a wash. Gross! Also, there is usually some nonsense going on in the parking lot such as fights, loud music, loud people, and speeders. Luckily, I had an apartment at the very end of the superlong hallway which kept me from dealing with the foot traffic, but noise from the elevators, trash room, and laundry room carry down the hall. So, there's no escaping the noise. It's a huge place with a variety of people (most of them shady). the hallways smell from the mixture of everyone cooking. I found a wallet outside with someone's parole card which scared me a little. There appears to be no screening process either, so you are stuck with a whole bunch of strange people. I just did not feel comfortable there. The kicker is, when I was moving out, somebody actually stole some of my items in between trips I was taking to and from the moving truck!!. Stay away from there!! It's nothing but a spot for illegal activity (I know because my friend is a cop in that town and told me all about it).

Well, I have lived here for the past year. As for the first review, there is a no smoking policy AND they passed a no dog policy as well since your review was written. Only "grandfathered" dogs are permitted in the building. And you should be happy that you lived near a hospital! You have a lot of nerve to complain about ambulance noise.
And as for the response to this review...How could you say this place is a ghetto? I've never heard anyone loud enough to bother me since these walls are indeed very well insulated since I can't hear a darn thing unless it's someone in the hallway. And why do I feel like the only one who doesn't have a noise issue? And what the heck kind of complaint is the smell of cooking? Haven't you ever lived in an apartment before??? Every complex has their problems, but this place is one of the best places I've lived in. Neighbors are nice and courteous, maintenance is timely and friendly, and I don't hear any noise unless someone is talking loudly in the hallway, so I don't know what the heck you people are talking about! This place is the freaking Taj Mahal compared to what you could be living in. Picky people, you are!

I have family living there and for the price of the monthly asssociation fee things could look better. For instance the outside grounds should be looked at. There are cracked sidewalks, trash in the common areas. They just updated the lobby and it looks much better than it did. The floor hallways need a little work, stains in the carpeting, but that's to be expected. As far as the people living there, never had a problem with noise. Everyone is friendly and goes about thier buisness. the staff are also very helpful and only a phone call away if you need them.
I just wish they kept up with the maintenance of the building.
