I've lived here back in 1993-1994 and now living here again in 2006-2007. So far it's pretty good. Rent is fairly affordable, utilities are included (so you can fry yourself in the winter if you wish) and the building is generally clean.

However a few things that could use improvement is some obnoxious neighbors and the management that won't take care of them. Generally old people live here so it's quiet but I've occasionally had to deal with morons screaming their lungs off at 3 AM. I've also had a problem with some idiots smoking their cigarettes and the smell creeping into my apartment. I've had to get an air filtering system to get that stench out of my bedroom almost every single day!!

I called the office to complain but all I got was that "an old deaf woman" lives above you. So I guess this "old deaf woman's" cigarette butts are falling on my balcony right' I've also complained about random hammering in the middle of the night and all I got was "Unless you know exactly who it is, there is nothing we can do." This is true to some extent but I wish they'd enforce their "quiet after 10PM" policy or whatever the hell that is.

The only other thing is sometimes their maintenance guys are total idiots. My first month I lived here my toilet clogged almost every week and when I called to have someone fix it, all the guy did was take one of my buckets and pour hot water down the toilet 5 times. After that I didn't bother calling maintenance and I just did that myself. The maintenance guys also walk in their nasty shoes and stomp all over your rugs or whatever you have so you should remove anything you don't want stomped on the day before.

Well anyway if you get lucky or you don't care about cigarette smoke or slight noise, then this place is probably good. The only other downside is they require a 12 month lease and if you break it I hear there's crazy fees. Due to this I may not be renewing my lease this year.
