My family has been living in the Waterford for 3 years now, and at first it was a lovely place to live. We never had any problems with the apartment, parking etc. But immediately after we signed our lease for the third year, all hell broke loose. First we went to move around some furniture in my son's room and behind his dresser was a colony of mold the size of his dresser. With further inspection we found mold in all the rooms in the apartment. When we called out maintenance they brought out a bottle of bleach water and wiped it down. We told them we knew it was under the rugs so they said ok we'll take care of it. About 6 months later they finally came to remove the rugs, but we had already cut out the bad pieces. After the whole mold ordeal it began to rain one January day, and our ceiling in the kitchen started to buckle. We had been calling maintenance since the day we moved in here about the ceiling and they kept "patching" the roof. Finally after the ceiling buckled they said we were getting a new roof, and they would fix the ceiling, AFTER the roof was done. So they came and removed the warped sheet rock and put extra insulation in the 4 foot gaping hole in the kitchen. Well guess what, there were mice in the ceiling, we didn't know about and they all decided to visit us, in a two week span, we trapped 9 mice. When the exterminator came out, he told us, that they were told buy management just to trap the ones in the apartment and don't worry about the problem in the crawl space above it. I will put my family on a park bench in a refrigerator box, before I would ever step foot in these apartments again.
Don't get me started on the $400 electric bill in the winter, and my thermostat was never set above 65. Parking sucks, I work nights and have to park about 5 buildings over when I get home. We had our tires slashed and the car broken into while we were here. All the faucets leak, even after they have been fixed, the tub is peeling away revealing a layer of mold or something. You will quickly out grow this place, no closets.
Well after that, we couldn't take it anymore and broke out lease and got the hello out. This place sucks big time, managment and maintenace put on a show, but they are completely incompentent, lazy, and losers.
