Where to begin with this dump''

I moved here right oufter graduating from college and this was my first apartment, so i hardly did much of any research because if i did I would have never come here!
I've lived here for over 5 years and it has turned more into a slump every year. Managment has changed hands about 6 or 7 times in this time period. Each time hiring less and less compitent people.

I have problems in my apartment that have never been fixed since i moved here! like my favorite is that aparently the police busted down all the doors of my aprtment to arrest the people that lived there before me and replaced my bedroom door with an entry door that doesn't completely close or lock! Ceiling caving in the bathroom and heavy waterstains from a roof falling apart that took almost 2 years to fix. The only good thing is that i have nice neighbors.

*> I was promised my building was a 'no child' building and last year guess what' Yup we've got kids! And a newborn who cries all the time. And in the summertime I hear that kids friends getting off the bus and banging on the door, hollering and running thru the hallways and slamming doors!
*> Like paying aroung 300$ in the winter for heat and air conditioning in the summer'
Well prepare to open your wallet because insulation is extremely poor.You pay to air condition the outside in the summer and heat it in the winter because all the windows are off the balance because they don't fit and there is no insulation, and at least half of the windows don't completely close and screens are gone so there are some windows I don't even bother to open for risk if insects just walking on in!
*> Parking is ok sometimes, but when Coasline Bar has something going on you either have to park on the street or blocks away from your home. Complaining to management does nothing. Even when they boast signs that parking is stricly enforced. HA! what a buch of crap!
*> Some upscale tenants like to leave broken down cars in the lot-taking up much needed parking space. Once again our class A management does nothing!
*>There is no closet space. You will quickly grow out of these apartments.
*> Like stray cats' well here you go. In the years I've lived there they came to trap the cats once and failed miserably. Now they are everywhere and in high numbers.
*>In the warmer months there are armies of large mutant cockroach like bugs that swarm the parking lot and get into apartment hallways I've heard of some getting into first floor apartments, but luckily I'm on the 2nd floor. But that doesn't stop the hordes outside from making attempts!
*>The office is mostly locked and unreachable by phone during 'open hours'.
*> Like cold showers'' The hot water in the shower runs out and turns cold after 10 minutes. Creating what my husband calls Speed Showers. Becuase if you stay in there any longer you'll be stuck with shampoo in your hair while the water turns freezing on you.
*> The NOISE! When i moved here the first two years were semi-quiet and the noise that i did hear was tolerable. Then when management changed for the 4th time, they make it policy NOT to screen people, or backround check them. One of my neighbors is going thru a nasty divorce (info provided by paper thin walls) and all hours of the day and night for months he's screaming and cursing and trashing his apartment. The police where called a few times and it just continues.
And Last year i got some wonderful new neighbors from who knows where and i knew there was gonna be trouble when two of the guys helping thier relative move in decided to pee on the wheels of the moving truck in the street in broad daylight. And these great new neighbors like blast the radio and smoke pot which stinks up the hallways and seeps into my apartment.

Bottom line---DON"T MOVE HERE! Rent goes up every year but service goes down. Repairs' HA! IF they do come count on it taking many trips becuse the applicances are older than i am. Count on leaks, MOLD, windows not being able to close, and CRIMINALS living next door.

CHECK OUT THRU RECORDS FROM HOUSING AUTHORITY THE LAWSUITS AND MASSIVE HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS THAT ARE SWARMING THIS PLACE AND THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO SEE WHO'S YOUR NEIGHBOR. YOU WILL BE SHOCKED!

I'm moving out this summer and my husband and I are counting the days! We found a pretigous NEW place in New England. Its a few hundred dollars more, but i'm happy to pay for it. My husband and i agree it's WELL worth it.

You claim to be a college graduate but have the spelling and grammar skills of a complete illiterate. I find it hard to believe that anywhere 'prestigious' (note the correct spelling, dear!)would take you!
