Safe. That is the one word I would like to start this review with, I have always felt safe coming home to this complex, no matter the time of day. I live in the fire lane facing away from the street which is very nice and plus I get sun in my apartment. Having a front yard is wonderful, especially with the warm weather, being able to sit in your chairs or bbq on you grill (if you have one). The apartment is decent size, the bedroom has a very nice walkin closet and if you are on the first floor there is a nice sized coat closet. I wish that there was a linen closet and I know that now they are adding the option to have a w/d in unit, where it would fit, I have no idea. The kitchen is small with not alot of cabinet space but I have made do. The aluminum windows desperately need upgrading and would help tenets save a fortune and the complex too since they pay for heat (I pay an average of 80 dollars electricity in the summer months and 30-45 dollars in the winter). The maintenance here is fantastic, they get things done efficiently and expedite...and I have never felt worried about my belongings. There is a nice pool although it costs extra. They are constantly maintaining the grounds. It is unfortunate that I am considering moving, the rent has become too expensive for me. I live on a very fixed income because I am a student and I can't afford the continual rent increases past a certain point (800 a month is very hard for me to do at this moment). They do offer to upgrade the blinds, lighting fixtures, or linoleum or cleaning services upon 1 yr lease renewal as a thank you. But to those who can afford it or happen to look at the apartments when there are specials on rent going on, I highly recommend Kingsrow
