This complex has gone through a few management changes. My husband and I just completed our first year and have renewed for a second. We were around to see the latest change, but thankfully didn't experience any of the major complaints mentioned in the previous reviews. We have certainly had our share of characters living close by, but it's basically what you would expect living in a large community like this, in an area like this. We're not talking about a place in Cherry Hill or Haddonfield you know. As far as the condition of the apartment moving in - you have to be a smart tenant. Do not sign the lease until you have inspected the apt you intend to rent and tell them if there are any problems. Use the check sheet they give you when you move in to avoid any charges when you move and if you aren't treated well by maintenance (a previous tenant wrote about her baby having heat rash and losing weight b/c of a busted air conditioner) call the board of health, the township, the news...call anybody else instead of crying to the office where obviously nothing is getting done! As I said before though, I have yet to experience any major issues and have dealt with the office on a few occasions. The apartments are the largest and have the most amenities for the price, they only raise the rent slightly each year (compared to a few hundred in other places) and ever since the new owners, this place is looking up.

Please people!!
When this property was purchased it was a stipulation in the agreement through the lender that all the improvements being made were done!! Otherwise, Millbridge would still be the same rat-trap it has become. The ------- had to do all the work required by the lender, township, etc. to bring the place up to code required by the State of NJ and the Twp. of Gloucester. Apparently you have not been apartment shopping in the near area because there are several other complexes that offer the same, if not MORE amenities, that you speak of - including a pool that was open all summer and not closed because management would not chlorinate it or have lifeguards there. Raise the rent slightly - the last rent increase was 4% - that is not slightly. And the ------- are a trip to deal with - when addressing females they look right through them and also speak to them like they are subservient. Please, give us a break - Millbridge is still Ghetto and will remain that - it will not go to the status of the illusional "Premier Community the ------- think it is!!

Anonymous,
Millbridge will stay as your say "Ghetto" when poeple have your mentality. I have lived here for a number of years and have had good experiences with both managements BUT poor experience with residents that had your same poor mentality. The management can make improvements and keep the neighbor clean/gardens manicured--but the community is as only as good as the residents. When the residents don't keep their areas clean--free of trash, cigratee butts (eventhough there are ample trash receptables around) or people who do not respect other peoples property or discipline thier children/teach them how to take care of something eventhough you do not "own it"--your making it "ghetto" not the complex. The apartments are spacious, provide the convience of a washer and dryer, dishwasher and central air. With all that you say you know about lenders and such...why not stop renting and buy a house, townhouse or something...but then you may not like that because you would not have anyone to complain about but youself--because when something breaks there is no maintaince to call to come fix it for you...and you have to pay yourself. I hope you have found other housing by now because people like you will ruin our community!!
