Our family lives in 2bdr and we are leaving when lease is up. My husband and I have had problems ever since we moved in two years ago. I can't tell you the many problems we have had and the things we had to fight for: air conditioning, heating, neighbors with roaches, apartment in terrible condition upon move in day, ignorant office staff; currently, we have new upstair neighbors that are disrespectful and make too much noise. They are causing a lot of problems for us and its not a safe environment for our children anymore. The office staff has never been professional or helpful. They are condescending and ignorant. And the "new improvements" are insulting to our intelligence. I feel the most sorrow for the young children here: this is not a place for thriving, healthy, active children. Even more sad is the children that act up are reflections of the parents. Apartment living is not for families. As for new tenants who may have a different impression, you will see what the majority have been saying. My husband and I barely had problems when we lived in a 1bdr by ourselves but we learned fast and hard! My advice, if you have to live here just a little longer DOCUMENT EVERYTHING! The office staff obviously will not be involved or as persistent as you are. Get others involved if you have to; those who may have more authority! And don't stoop to level of terrible neighbors-it will only get you into trouble and give them more reason to act like fool-karma will take care of them.

Well, this and many other recent postings certainly blow the management's perception of "MILLBRIDGE - THE PREMIER COMMUNITY" as advertised on the new sign on Blackwood-Clementon Road at a cost of about $50,000!!! Maybe where they came from this was as good as it gets - but the "GHETTO" Millbridge will never change - they can continue to "dress it up" in all kinds of fancy ----, but the fact remains the same - the place is over 40 years old - come on, fix up the inside of the apartment - new bath(tile, tub, light fixtures, vanity, sink & medicine cabinet. Then new kitchen - from top to bottom (and not the cheap ----!!!) Then start getting DECENT tenants - and by all means DOCUMENT EVERYTHING!!!! I understand there used to be a TENANT'S ASSOCIATION there - but the madman that was the last property manager made life so miserable for any residents that were on it, the committee disolved as the man made more and more threats against everyone on the committee that lived there. You all need new heating/airconditioning systems, monthly extermination ( like most of the complexes around here do for free!!) and an office staff that has some clue about what is happening - besides just ripping you off for your monthly rent. Send the ------- back to wherever they came from - we need someone who actually cares about how they treat and interact with the tenants. God bless the poor little kids that are living there - beware parents, the drug dealers will get to them before you ever knew what happened.

Thank you Anonymous-you and many others see what the truth is. As far as decent tenants, that will never happen here or any other apartment complex. These people are here for a reason- to keep the money coming in and keep perpetuating the stereotype that all tenants are uneducated and lower class, that can be talked down to and taken advantage of. A continuing plight and cycle of the poor and now middle class. But unforunately, some of these poor have nothing to lose and making things bad for the rest of us.For YEARS,the pits of Philadelphia and Camden have been making its way into the surrounding areas and this is the result.Its so terrible. I've never been to a Tenant's Assoc. meeting but always wanted to go.I think the majority of people have given up. I've had my dealings with the "madman", the ex-head of maintenance, and the ladies at the office-disrespectful and condescending. I would be tired and swollen from being pregnant, constantly calling and going to the office dealing with them. I would say they should be ashamed of themselves but i know they weren't. And currently, they are doing construction on our swimming pool. More dressing up! Another huge bathtub for everyone to swarm around. Oh, and did anyone show up to that sorry excuse of a meet and greet with the "new" office management to get ---lemonade and stale cookies!
