Tory Estates

Just moved in From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/2/2008 Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008   I just moved into Tory Estates and so far its seems like a nice place. However there are some concerns that I want to post here for potential renters. I live in a second floor apartment and practically every inch of the floor squeaks. I think I've been lucky since I've been here because I have had no complaints from the downstairs neighbors. There is not adequate closet or storage space, we failed to look for this when we moved in, so I know I have to live with it. I have a small walk-in closet in the master bedroom which is where I have to keep all my linens and towels. There is a giant walk in closet in the living room but since I have no other outside storage I have to keep all of my extra stuff in that closet. The only way to have a dining room table is if you split the living room which would give you no living room space at all, so I have to store my didning room table under the futon in the extra room and the dining room chairs in the walk in closet in the living room. The biggest complaint I have about living here is that the kitchen cabinets have very poorly laid shelf paper that is curling up all over, is wrinkled in many spots and is nailed in by thumbtacks. Upon closer inspection I found that the shelf paper is there to cover up the fact that all of the cupboars are made of particle board. There are a lot of good things about the apartment also. It's seems to be quiet so far and there is ample parking. I had one instance where I had to have maintenance come out and they were there the same day that I called and he was very professional and friendly. The management seems to be friendly so far. There are many shopping centers close by and is close to route 42.
