Just came to learn that renters on one side of the apartments (Martha Avenue side) have reserved parking spaces for their cars while on the other side (7th Street and beyond), they have to park miles away and walk to get to their apartments. Many have been robbed walking for "home, sweet home" in this hellish complex.
Come morning, when they are walking fast or running to get to their cars to go to work, they sadly learn that their cars have been vendalized.
If you live on the first floor...God bless you. Your windows will be shattered by kids (sometimes even adults!!) playing outside right under your nose. And the super is the last person to complain about it. He will hang up on you. Forget about him fixing your shattered window!!! Although it has not happened yet, but I bet if your apartment is on fire and call him, he will tell you not to bother him and call 911.
The ceilings are so low that you can not even stretch yourself. And there is no buffer zone between upstairs and downstairs apartments. Or for that matter, sideways. If a person upstairs drops a pin, the person downstairs can hear it. Please, I am not going to write here what I can hear from upstairs people when they are in the bathroom.
For young couples just starting a family or already have a child, please not here. Your neighbors left and right and up and down can hear everything. And you already have a child, so can he or she. Not only the child, but the whole neighborhood can hear what you are doing in your bedroom.
