First, Richfield Village does a very bad job of preparing an apartment for you to move into. Be prepared to mop, dust, and scrub, especially the bathroom and kitchen.
Some apartments do not have bedroom
closet-doors so your clothes will be out in the open.
The windows have no wooden frames and the whole apartment is painted white including doors. There are no lockable locks in the bathroom. If you have guests they may walk in on each other.
The rooms are very small and there's very little storage space. Do not be deceived by the model apartment. You're not allowed into the apartment until a day before your move in date and only after signing the lease. Thereafter a bad surprise awaits you.

The floors and walls are paper thin. Chances are you will hear your neighbor's TV and/or radio. If your apartment is by a highway, you'll need to get some heavy curtains to keep out some of the noise from vehicles.

Maintenance is indeed very pathetic. When they do fix things they do it very badly and cheaply. And they come into your apartment without notifying you - even when you haven't called them. You find things moved around and you start wondering if you're losing your mind. I've had to install a webcam.

If you cook, you'll have to deal with 1 foot of counter space. Try to fit your microwave, dish rack, knife-rack, and prepare your food in this small space. It's very frustrating.

It gets very cold in the winter. The heating is inadequate so be prepared to bring in an additional heater. The temperatures drop around 8 PM when you're watching TV and then go up late at night so you end up having a sweaty night and an extremely dry mouth.

Overall you don't get your money's worth.

Good:
Walking distance to NYC bus and shuttle to train station.
Close to GS parkway, route 3, 46, 80.
Nice and fairly safe neighborhood.
