Richfield Village

I have previously written generally nice things about this place in an effort to build it up (I am the type of person to try to improve anything in which I am involved).
I moved out in August. As stated before, the living is ok. The neighborhood is ok. Walls are pathetically thin, management is borderline retarded (some hired more for their cup size than brain function - shout out to the front desk girl!), bugs exist but not unreasonably, over-heating is ridiculous. All in all, a decent enough place for your dollar.
time's have changed. Richland court just returned my deposit. Well, part of it. Richland charged me $400 for various 'repairs':sanding the floor - I had carpet down over the entire apartment and am positive I did not scratch any surface ($75). Shower head- I replaced the shower head with a much better quality one and left the original (a disgrace to cleaniness) in the bathroom should they chose to reuse it instead of the better one I left ($20). Refinishing the bath tub - I put down non slip grips...I could've removed them in 5 minutes but decided to leave them incase they liked the improvement ($250). Removing blinds/window coverings - I took all blinds and curtains with me...NONE were left ($10). Never living there again...Priceless
Topping this, their letter states "we returned your security deposit with interest". I am an auditor with college degrees in finance and accounting. Trust my math: Their interest equates to $0.55 on a $1,612.50 invested over a year compounded annually. that comes out to 0.034%.THANK YOU RICHLAND COURT, BUT PLEASE KEEP YOUR INTEREST AND GO F*CK YOURSELF. I WILL SEE YOU IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT

Your review and complaints are very valid ones. Unfortunately, my lease will be up in Feb'10. I have almost another 4mos to stick it out. Needless to say, I will not renew either for many of the reasons you have already mentioned. The heat and noise factor...that's why everyone leaves here. You are refering to Richland Court but I do think you mean Richfield Village Apts, Richfield Court, in Clifton?
