my husband and i moved here from nyc after we got married in june of 2008. We were looking for a more queit neighborhood and decent pricing. this apartment community is not terrible but i dont think its worth the money. some of the good things is that its close to public transportation, shopping, it's a really nice neighborhood, the apartments are a good size and we dont have a lot of noise where we are (brookside dr.). the not so good things are that there is not an efficient maintenance crew, they don't keep up with the landscaping and we called a few weeks ago for them to take a look at the molding in the bathroom (see photo) and we have yet to hear from them. the heat system is ridiculous. it was unbearable at times & we even had to sleep with the air conditioning on during the winter! also the walls are thin so we can hear all movement upstairs. we dont feel totally disappointed but we are hoping we wont have to renew our lease. from reading the previous reviews, it seems as though race/ethnicity is important so i'll just tell you that we're black. fyi.

I hope you realize that your complaints are very common ones for people living in Richfield Village. You are being very diplomatic. Race is not the issue here! The true issue is that the Rental Office along with the Maintenance Dept STINK !! What they do best is NOTHING. Most of these people are not "accountable". If you have the chance to move out I would definitely tell you to do that. You can find a better place for the money and not put up with the crap which goes on here. After almost 6 yrs here, I refuse to renew my lease for many reasons.
