Only one drawback

I have lived at Haddon Hills for 11 years total. I dont have a problem with management. If something is broken it does get fixed. I dont have a problem with bugs, I did on and off but the exterminator is free and all you have to do is call to have him come out. The water pressure is okay, some days its low and some days it full blast, but its not something to complain about. I have never had a major issue here with management or my apt. I love it. You cannot beat the price for the area, the beautiful hardwood floors and the grounds. I believe alot of the compliants are more with their neighbors and not with the "office" or apartment itself. My only complaint and its no fault of the office or the apt. is my neighbors. And this has been with neighbors in the past. It always flabbergasts me that people let their small children run wild all day in the summer and at night at really really young ages. They let them litter my walkway and my steps with toys, food, and whatever else they feel the need to drag out. This is my major issue. The fact that it goes unnoticed to the parents, is amazing. I do at times feel like I am in a Barney video or a guest on sesame street. I am forever picking up after kids that are not mine. My little lawn area is coved with tents, toys ect. I know kids need a place to play especially in the summer months but thats what parks and playgrounds are for. It is the only drawback to Haddon Hills. So Management, if you are reading, put out a flyer and maybe these wonderful moms of the year will take the hint!! I think some moms use the "excuse" that Haddon Hills is so safe that they can let the children out all day & night and not have to worry. It is a shame that I can not enjoy sitting outside to read or what not without the noise of children and all their things all over and the 50 million inquisitive questions they ask. It is starting to get old.

i wanted to respond to your opinion if i may. i've lived in the hills for 23 years. when i moved in i had my two children who's ages then were 3 and 16. i was never one of those mom's who let their kids run day and night being of the old school that children should have quiet time before a reasonable bed time. i fully agree with you on that note. however one of my children now is a mother herself and lives here in the hills as well. she has a 2 1/2 year old boy who loves to play outside with the neighbor children. there is a small yard behind their townhouses where they can run and play. one of the neighbor ladies has done so much yard and garden work and all are appreciative of her efforts. i hate to see the kids my grandson included run around like maniacs and trample the flowers and shrubs that are planted.my daughter is trying to teach him to respect others and to respect the property. remember he is after all only two so he's in the learning stage. however in response to taking the kids to the park or playground may not always be convenient to the parents. everyone here pays their rent and are entitled to the use of the grounds. if you find it too noisey to read outside i suggest you move your reading spot to a quieter area. as far as asking "50 million" questions tells me these children like you. if you really dont want to be bothered with the kids it may be time to speak to their parents.. children are the greatest gift we can ever receive so try to keep that in mind. also try to remember what it was like to be a child. kids are energy and noise on two legs with a curiosity that cant be beat. try to be patient and remember they wont be kids for long...
