Bottom line: not that bad.

I've lived in Haddon Hills Apts in a townhouse for the last 2 years, i'm moving out this september. My move out is due to moving in with my significant other, and moving closer to work.

Here's the bottom line: its really not that bad. I consider the rent very fair, boarding on really good. I paid 1005 for a 2 bedroom town house with 1 bathoom. It has all wood floors, which is great for cleaning, as long as you keep up with it. The windows, not the best, but they are what they are. There is no garbage disposal, and there is not a dishwasher. There heat, which is a good temperature in the winters, but there is no airconditioning. You will need a window unit, because the exterior is all brick. 1 window unit for downstairs, and 1 for a bedroom was enough for me, that was a total of about 220 from Home depot. My only issue is the bathroom. Its old, the water pressure is good, but all units of hooked into the same water heater, so you get the blast of hot water when someone flushes. They are really old, so the tile is probably stained, my tub came with stains i've never gotten out.

The staff: i've never had a problem with jane or bill. I think people complaining about rent are wrong. I paid on time, mailed my check into the LLC, so I had no problems. Maintenance is not bad, but not great. We had squirrels in the attic, they depend on the tennants to let them in. The maintenance guys reaked of booze, however i'm 100% they were external contracters. Mail is throw threw your slot by the postman, so he scatters on the floors, and trash builds up in the dumpsters outside. This is all what you should expect in a apartment complex.

Bottom line: the area is safe. My neighbors are pretty friendly, and I think everyone's in the same boat here in.. trying to save some money, and live somewhere safe. I was in the units on West End, across from the soccer field. Its within walking distance of the train station and a thirtway. Pets are interesting because they say no dogs, but plenty of my neighbors have them. It is a noisy a bit because the buildings are old. Laundry is $1.50 for washer then $1.50 for dryer, but you'll want to use $1.75 for dryer or your clothes will not be fully dry. On 1 complaint... all the basements for the washers are flooded when in rains, you kind just live with it.
