I have resided at Parkview "Luxury" Apartments since March of 2006. I can not believe the changes that have taken place since the new ownership has taken over.
Unless you are an athlete or Superman, I don't suggest you move here. The elevators are contantly broken. Old, sick and handicapped folks are forced to walk up sometimes 7, 8 or 9 flights of steps. When the maintiance office is contacted, they make not attempts to inform the tennants that the elevator will be repaired in a timely manner.
In June the underground parking started renovatioins causing the back of the building to close and parking to be disrupted. Now parking is a nightmare even for handicapped folks. There has been no access to the gym since June. Residents are not allowed to recieve packages. You must go to the post office and pick up any packages that are delieved. This is my home!
There are serious saftey issues here. You can easily access any of the buildings. Since the management took over, the place if filthy. The hallways, lobbies and grounds are unkept and the stairways are disgusting.
The tennants here are really excellent people and we don't deserve this. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time coming here to find a place to live. It is most unsatisfactory.
