I moved to The Parkview in 1996, gambling on its success. With a few exceptions (such as maintenance competence), I loved it here.

Since April, 2006, with Audubon Partners purchased the complex, the quality of life here has plummeted like a stone from the sky.

They fired great cleaning and landscaping crews and hired incompetent morons. They discontinued preventive exterminating and now the buildings are infested with roaches. The staff are unresponsive, surly and treat residents as though we work for them, not the other way around.

The rear entrances have been locked, while repairs to the garage are underway -- at least 18 months. We have no escape in the event of a fire or disaster. If the fire is in the front of the building -- the only exit, we are doomed.

The Parkview is filthy! Carpets, walls, celilings are stained, dirty and the whole place needs painting indoors. I have my own cleaning person and handy man, so my apartment is lovely. But, I can no longer invite guests, because I am so ashamed everything else about the place.

The class of people management is moving in here are making it more like the Old Sutton Towers, rather than the New Parkview. And upscale, working professionals are moving out as fast as they can.

My husband and I took a big gamble when we moved here. For 9 years, it paid off. Now, we are moving out when our lease is up.
