I've lived here for only two years and I have to say I wish they had never decided to renovate. Renovations are not supposed to be an inconvenience for the residents. I live in the A building and the freight elevator has been out of service well over 6 months now. How are we supposed to take our laundry down, how are the elderly supposed to get their mail and do their laundry' The new elevators are junk, they are constantly breaking and my roommate got stuck on the 6th floor in one and had to wait almost an hour to be let out. Parking is a nightmare and there are no ifs ands or buts about it. You have to pay to use the pool and the gym which I find to be ridiculous, it should be included with the rent. My air conditions isn't cold at all when the sun hits it, it blows hot air until the sun goes down. My microwave stopped working and maintenance said it's not their job to fix them and that they would try to find me another one. 3 months later they gave me an old, disgustingly dirty replacement. The doors fell off of every closet but one and maintenace said it's not a concern right to them right now. They're raising rent and my neighbors just moved into a renovated apartment and their pipes keep leaking! They've had them fixed (or maintenace attempt so fix it but obviously they have no idea what to do) 3 times now and they keep leaking. The place is a disaster and I can't wait to move out. I'm leaving in 2 months and I'm counting down the days. If you ask anyone who has lived here for awhile they'll have no problem telling you what you're getting yourself into if you're thinking about moving here. I suggest you actually ask the residents so you can get a first-hand account. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Don't be fooled by the new interior and sales-pitch.
