Unless you have no other option, stay away from Hunter's Glen

Hunter's Glen is an absolute last resort in terms of apartment living. Things here get worse with each passing year. My complaints:
1. Security- a theatrical setting and overall poorly conceived system. I do not enjoy rolling down my car window in heavy rains or freezing weather to flash a box with my resident card. It may seem insignificant at first but after enough times it becomes annoying.
The gatehouse is also not manned on numerous occasions during the day leaving the complex wide open for anyone to get in. Even when someone is there, it only takes a random apt number and any name to get in. This entire setup should be demolished as it only hinders traffic. There is no security at Hunter's Glen and the gate system is a fraud at being functional.
2. Laundry- We used to be able to walk our laundry to the end of the each building to access a washer and dryer but they did away with it in favor of building one central laundry facility for the entire complex. Now, I have to get my laundry in my car and drive there which is another enormous inconvenience I must endure. It's no different than NOT having a laundry facility on the grounds because I still have to drive to my destination.
3. Tenants- The people that live here are fresh off the boat from Brazil and/or the middle east. They stack their one bedroom apts with 6 or more people and create noise from each moment they're home. I've called the gatehouse numereous times to complain and although they send someone out to have them quiet down, they won't take any long term measures to ensure permanent quiet living. I hate being the noise police, yet I can't take the booms from slammed doors, the floor shaking from their music, and the yelling of their conversations which clearly beams into my UPSTAIRS apartment.
English is not the language of Hunter's Glen. Is a matter of fact, it's not even the second. If you don't speak portuguese or turkish, you will be alienated around neighbors. You are the minority in terms of dialect. US citizens need not apply.
4. Parking- 50% of the automobiles in Hunter's Glen are Pennsylvania tagged, un-insured, burly white convoy vans with ladders upon ladders (illegal via the lease yet another rule unenforced) stacked on top of them.
5. Maintenance- They boast of a great staff but my experiences don't support their claims. I struggle with hot water daily and they say there's too much demand for their boilers. My roof leaks and they've made a whopping 2 attempts to fix it. I've had a brand new refrigerater replaced with an older one that wasn't cleaned out prior to getting it here. I was scrubbing mold out of it for 2 days before I could store food.
In summary, I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. There are too many things going against it making not even the low rent prices justifyable for people seeking peaceful living. My lease is up in 5 months and I'm eagerly looking forward to moving out.
