If you're single and/or in the military...

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
For a single guy in the military who doesn't want to deal with any roommates, this place isn't that bad at all for it's reasonable rent. It's my very first apartment and I have to say that my first year here has been pretty nice. I think how you look at this place all depends on your neighbors. Mine are an older couple with no kids so I really don't hear much noise at all from them and they're pretty polite.
I'm not an unapproachable person, but everyone else seems to leave me alone or avoid me and I think it's because I'm in the service and I guess it seems like a rarity around the area to see someone in uniform, plus I've been here for about a year and a half and I haven't seen any other people from any military branch around here.
It's nice if you've looking to separate your military life from your personal life. I really do feel like the only person in the service in Delran.
If you move here, definitely ask for a second floor unit and be sure to ask what kind of neighbors you have. I love all kinds of music but I'm sure no one wants to live next to someone who feels the whole complex has to listen to their stereo blasting a bass fueled rendition of Sir Mix-a-lot's Jump On It at 12 at night every night.
For a one bedroom for just one person, it's more than I need. The bedroom is pretty big, I don't think I've seen some corners of my bedroom yet because I'm only near the bed or at the closet and that's it. I've read other reviews about how 10 immigrants are to one bedroom and I believe it. You could fit a whole barrack in a room.
I never use the laundry service in the complex, the one across the street in the plaza next to Target is so much better, quieter and cheaper too. Plus, you can feel safe leaving your load to wash to go run an errand or two because the doors on the washers automatically lock. But not on the dryers.
The only other complaints I have are the assigned parking slots, they could be a little bigger and the 50 speed bumps I have to go through to get home or go out. If you live here long enough, you stop caring about slowing down to go over them.
I can't really compare Hunter's Glen to any other place since again, this is my first apartment but from where I live in the complex it's been nice and I guess you have to remember that no place is gonna be like you imagined, besides, my next apartment in where ever else I'm stationed at next could be a lot worse.
