If you can't speak Portuguese, you won't fit in here. I've also heard that if you do rent here, they give you a white construction van with a rack full of ladders to clutter up the parking lots. I know that's what's going on in my apartment's parking area. Any given evening, there are as many as 11 vans in the lot. Just try to find parking for your car in this overpriced complex. If your unfortunate enough to be a female, you'll be lucky to be able to walk around without being verbally accosted by the jocky sized, macho men that are trying to inpose there liscivious Brazilian culture on residents instead of assimilating to a more Americanized culture. You might be smart and drive by this place before you consider renting. You'll notice that the C building, where the rental office is, NEVER has any vans parked in the lot. But if you take the time to drive thru the areas that actually go back into the complex and start counting, you'll probably be surprised at what you'll see. All those vans and all registered out of state...can you say insurance fraud' The rental office turns a blind eye to this problem...they need to fill the units. It doesn't matter if the new tennant is legal or not! The Delran police just about live in here now, there are so many calls to come out.
This place use to be a great place to live, but no more. There are signs posted in key areas offering cash for referals. Ask the office how many referals come in and how much cash they've paid out. Bet they can't tell you...'cause there aren't any!
I'm looking to get out and you'd be better off to keep looking. Nobody that moves in (that's a non-Brazilian) stays very long. If English is your language, this place won't work for you! Bigot' Racist' I'm sure it sounds it, but my attitude is the result of non-uniform application of rental policy and lease terms favoring the questionably legal Brazilian population living here now.
